Laptop Buying Guide - Which Laptop Should I Buy?

They have spent a fortune on brand new laptop. But technology is developing at a rapid pace, and your laptop will always feel old in a few years. It is therefore imperative that a model you are comfortable with as long as you keep it to buy.

Basic Laptops
Equal before buying a notebook to a realistic assessment of your needs. Are you a compulsive gambler? Do you tend to see a lot of HD video on your computer? Most usershave a fairly limited needs, which only extend to web browsing and word processing. Every laptop on the market are available to meet these requirements. So there is no need for thousands of dollars for a high-end machine to spend. Besides cost, other factors that must be taken into account portability and ease of use.

Do you have a lot? Mobile employees need a thin and light machine, they can carry. Netbooks are a good choice for them. These machines are incredibly popular now. Theyare ultra-portable with 9 or 10-inch screens. Another reason for the popularity of netbooks is their price. These are inexpensive computers. But buying a netbook is not a very good idea if you want the machine as your primary computer. Compared to mainstream notebooks, netbooks have much less powerful hardware. And the small screen can strain your eyes if you think it is a long time.

The graphics card / GPU is an integral part of a gaming laptop. If you are not an avid gamer, then do not buy a laptop with a discrete GPU. But remember that a GPU be helpful during the execution of photo and video editing applications, and playback of HD video. If you tend to play a lot of games, you should buy a laptop with a discrete ATI or NVIDIA graphics processors.Intel processors in general with an integrated graphics solution like the GMA950 or come 4500MHD, but these are practically useless for the reproduction of graphics of modern games.

RAM (memory)
RAM stands for Random Access Memory. Having enough RAM is extremely important for a good performance from your laptop. For example, it will not be possible to run multiple applications at once, if you do not have enough RAM. So, how much memory is required? Well, it dependsto your exact needs. Most netbooks come with 1 GB of RAM. High-end models usually have 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM. Notebooks with 8 GB and 16 GB of RAM are also available at the moment. 1 GB of RAM is usually adequate if you are an average user.

Storage
How much memory you need depends on how the computer. If you only store your spreadsheets and office documents, you do not need much space. But if you store your laptop with movies, music and photos youneed to buy a model with a large hard drive. Basic Laptops generally come with 80 GB or 160 GB hard drives. The more expensive models with 500GB or 640GB hard drives are also available.
